It was a great trip, well planned and lots of fun with the Flyers Alumni. My only wish would have been to leave earlier in the day and not 6pm.

We had a great time in Wrexham! The leaders of our group were organized and planned many fun activities for us. We enjoyed meeting locals from the series who were all nice and welcoming.

As avid watchers of Welcome to Wrexham, we always commented how much we wanted to visit, but lamented that it would be almost impossible to attend a home match. When we saw this tour posted that included a home match as well as a city tour, we jumped on board! And we were NOT disappointed. As a first time itinerary, we knew to expect some changes along the way. Not only did we get to see the advertised home match, but we also got to attend an away match on the way from London to Wrexham, plus a Wrexham Women's match at The Rock, complete with the trophy presentation for their League Championship. We also got to visit nearby Snowdonia including a castle relic and a botanical garden. Upon checking in to our hotel in Wrexham we were greeted by a swag bag with a team hat, scarf and personalized home jerseys! In town, we were treated to private tours of the Racecourse and Wrexham Lager as well as VIP treatments at The Turf, The Fat Boar, Vault 33 and the team Super Store. We also got to meet recent former players as well as a few former legends. It was surreal walking around Wrexham and stopping at the various spots from the show. The business owners and the various 'characters' from the show treated us like regulars and old time friends, taking the time to talk with us, take a photo or two and even offer to show us some of their local historical spots. Throughout the town, people would stop us and thank us for visiting and beemed with pride about their town/city and, of course, their team. Our hosts were fantastic and fun to hang with and our group really gelled together quickly, making for an enjoyable experience. We are looking forward to a future trip to see how the improvements at the Racecourse turned out. Up The Town!

This was truly a once in a lifetime experience for me. To have the chance to feel what the show gives me every single episode. Incredible. Like I was home. I made friends on this trip both from the group and the town of Wrexham itself. These will be friends for life. As a solo traveler I felt completely safe and everyone was so welcoming and kind. The hosts were so accommodating and the town itself exceeding every single expectation that I had. I’ll remember this trip for the rest of my life. Thank you TrueFan for giving me something I’ll always cherish. I can’t wait to return to Wrexham for another trip. I couldn’t have asked for a better time :)

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! Our trip to London and Wrexham was absolutely amazing! Every detail was perfectly coordinated and our hosts, Matt and TeCe (and Kira and Nick) took care of everything! They had great experiences planned for us every day, yet there was still plenty of time to explore London and Wrexham on our own. From the football matches to the receptions, dinners with former players and tours (the Racecourse and Wrexham Lager were my favorites), the planned itinerary was amazing! But what was really great were the unexpected surprises: customized Wrexham merch, talking with the manager and players at their training facility, seeing the women's team receive their championship trophy, and meeting some of our favorite Wrexham locals from the documentary! Everyone we met in Wrexham was so welcoming and friendly, they were genuinely happy to meet us and proud to show us their beautiful city. And everyone on the trip was fantastic too, we have made some great new friends for life! I cannot recommend TrueFan Travel more highly! If you are a fan of Wrexham AFC, take this trip! Be sure to take plenty of pictures, because it will be hard for you to remember all the amazing things you saw and people you met! Awesome, awesome job, TrueFan!!!
